Overview

Stronger bending with two leveling stages.

The Double-bend Double-leveler combines controlled strip tension with two bending units and a second set of leveling rolls. The additional bending stage provides greater capacity to work the strip, enabling the removal of waves and coil set on material that a single-leveler arrangement cannot fully flatten. This configuration is specified where flatness-control demand is high.

It processes stainless steel, silicon steel and carbon steel strip across a typical width of 350–1780 mm at 500–800 m/min. The two bending units, together with finer tension adjustment, allow the leveling work to be matched to the grade and gauge, holding a stable strip shape into the downstream line.

It is suited to stainless and silicon-steel producers, carbon-steel strip manufacturers and service centers that feed cleaning, inspection, slitting or finishing lines and require consistent flatness and low residual stress.
