Steel Coil Slitting Line

Steel Coil Slitting Line

Slitting lines for steel coil in stainless, silicon, carbon steel, copper, aluminum and coated strip. Guangdong Jinye Technology slits master coil to width with controlled edge quality and precise recoiling, from light-gauge thin strip through to heavy gauge.

Coil to slit strip, matched to your gauge.

A slitting line takes a master coil, uncoils it, levels it, slits it into narrower strips and recoils each strip. JINYE manufactures four configurations so the line is matched to your material and gauge rather than forcing a single machine to cover every requirement. Across the range the lines process stainless, silicon, carbon steel, copper, aluminum and coated strip from 0.02 mm up to 6.0 mm, and from 350 mm up to 1780 mm wide.

For light and precision work, the thin-strip handling developed for our rolling equipment carries across to slitting, with strip down to 0.03 mm on the light-gauge line, including 201 stainless and other precision grades. Slitting also forms one stage of our turnkey flow, in which rolling, annealing, pickling, leveling and slitting operate as a single connected line, with energy consumption reduced by up to 30% versus conventional configurations, depending on process and drive design.

A typical line comprises a coil loading car, uncoiler, pinch and leveling section, rotary shear, scrap-edge recoiler, tension stand, recoiler and unloading station, together with the hydraulic system and electrical control. The four configurations are detailed below, with the application each one suits.

A defined engineering process

From your coil data to a confirmed slitting line

01

Coil & material review

We confirm material grade, strip width, thickness range, coil weight, number of strips and the slit widths required.

02

Configuration match

We define the uncoiler, leveling, slitting head, tension stand and recoiler scope to suit your gauge and output target.

03

Build, install & commission

We manufacture the line, install it on site, commission it and provide ongoing technical support.

Final rolling force, blade specification, maximum coil weight, strip count, minimum slit width and recoiling quality target are confirmed during engineering review.
