Heavy-gauge Slitting Line
A heavy-duty slitting line engineered for thick gauge and hot-rolled pickled strip. The configuration serves plants that slit carbon steel, pickled strip and medium-gauge stainless at width and require a frame that sustains load over long production runs.
Heavy-duty slitting engineered for thick-gauge material.
The Heavy-gauge Slitting Line is the configuration JINYE specifies when the coil is thick and the strip is demanding to handle. It slits thick gauge and hot-rolled pickled strip across a typical width of 850–1780 mm, in a thickness range of 1.0–6.0 mm, at 20–120 m/min. The lower reference speed is intentional; heavy material requires a stiffer frame and steady process control rather than high line speed.
The line is built from a heavy-duty uncoiler, a threading leveler, a heavy rotary shear, a scrap-edge recoiler, a tension stand and a heavy-duty recoiler. Every stage is sized for sustained load, so the line maintains slit width and edge quality on material that would overwork a lighter machine.
It is suited to carbon steel slitters, hot-rolled pickled strip processors and metal service centers running medium-gauge stainless. For plants that process thick coil and require clean, repeatable cuts at width, this configuration provides the structural capacity and control required.

Process and material review
We confirm material grade, strip width, thickness range, coil weight, slit count and line speed for your coil.
Configuration match
We size the uncoiler, leveler, rotary shear, tension stand and recoiler to suit your thick-gauge material and slitting target.
Build, installation and commissioning
We manufacture the line, install it on site, commission it and provide ongoing technical support.
