The offset 8-high mill is JINYE's flexible reduction mill. The compact, offset roll arrangement applies reduction across a range of materials while keeping the mill footprint contained. The configuration is specified where a plant requires reduction flexibility on a single mill rather than a single fixed duty.
It rolls stainless, silicon and carbon steel strip across a typical width of 350–1780 mm at 500–800 m/min. Strip-shape control is configured to the project, so the mill is matched to the material and downstream line rather than a generic setup.
The mill suits stainless and silicon-steel producers, carbon-steel strip manufacturers and metal service centers that require flexible reduction with stable thickness control and dependable strip shape.
