The Sheet and Plate Cleaning Machine prepares the surface of cut sheet and plate prior to downstream processing. Each piece is conveyed through spray cleaning, brushing and rinsing, then dried by air knife or hot air. The objective is a clean, dry surface free of carried-over oil and fines before annealing, coating or finishing.
The configuration processes stainless steel sheet, aluminum sheet and carbon steel sheet across a typical width of 600–1600 mm and a thickness of 0.3–6.0 mm, at 5–30 m/min. Because it handles cut pieces rather than coil, the line speed is lower than that of our strip cleaning lines, and the conveying section is engineered around flat-sheet handling.
The configuration is specified for sheet and plate processors, metal service centers and finishing shops that require a repeatable surface condition before the next operation.
